These award winning extra wide sleep sacks by Baby Loves Sleep are uniquely designed for babies receiving treatment for hip dysplasia who have outgrown swaddling and prefer to move their arms while they sleep, but still need some security to calm their startle reflex. It is the perfect sleep sack to help babies transition to free arms without losing sleep.
Once your baby is showing signs of being able to roll, swaddling is no longer safe. These sleep sacks are safe for babies who have started to roll onto their tummy during sleep as they are able to move their arms into their preferred position.

FEATURES
This is a 0.4 TOG rated sleep sack for warmer weather, made of a soft, light mesh fabric to encourage air circulation around your baby, keeping their body temperature cool and constant.
The Hands In and Out sleep sack features a two way zipper that opens full-body length with top zipper cover and a bottom opening zipper for easy nappy changes. It’s extra wide sack design is hip-friendly and is able to accommodate a hip dysplasia harness, brace or cast. It is roomy enough for your baby to move comfortably in their sleep but provides enough security to calm their startle reflex and keep them sleeping longer.
The key feature of the Hands In & Out sleep sack is the addition of clever foldover cuffs that can be open to allow your baby to self-soothe before sleep or they can be folded over and fully enclosing your child’s hands within the suit, warm and cosy throughout the night.
SIZING
This sleep suit comes in two sizes only:
Medium (6-12 months) - suitable for babies aged from 6 months onwards, weighing 8 - 10 kg. The length of the sleep suit is approx. 75cm.
Large (12+ months) - suitable for babies 12 months and beyond, weighing over 10 kg. The length of the sleep suit is approx. 86cm and is for babies that are ready to move on to having their hands outside of the sleep suit.
